Risks, Limitations and Assumptions
- App can handle Critical/Recovery failure notifications for the following two cases when user enables App Failure Notifications in configuration
- Connectivity Exception
- Authentication Exception
- App will send any duplicate/repeat failure alert notification for every 6 hours.
- Application cannot control monitoring pause/resume actions based on above alerts Metrics can be used to monitor resources and can generate alerts based on the threshold values.
- The minimum supported version for the option to get Latest snapshot metric is nextgen-14.0.0.
- Full discovery support requires gateway version 15.0.0 or above.
- App is not compatible with Cluster Gateway.
- Backup job discovery and monitoring is not being included, as VME may undergo changes related to backup job functionality. We can consider adding this in future releases once the functionality is finalized.
- For status metrics where the complete list of possible values is unknown, we’re using the known values and categorizing any others as “Other”
- Alerts/Incidents polling is not included due to the absence of time-based filtering. We will explore alternative options part of future releases.
- Currently the supports a morpheus with simple one machine architecture and not Morpheus HA architecture.
