Overview

Copilot is an AI-powered assistant embedded within OpsRamp that helps you investigate alerts, analyze infrastructure behavior, and take action using natural language—without navigating multiple dashboards or manually correlating data.

It is available across key workflows such as Search, Command Center, and Root Cause analysis, allowing you to interact with your environment conversationally.

Instead of building queries or switching between views, you can ask questions like:

  • Why is CPU usage high on this server?
  • Show related alerts for this resource
  • List critical alerts in my environment

Copilot analyzes telemetry, alerts, and topology data to provide contextual insights and recommended actions.

When to use Copilot

Use Copilot when you want to:

  • Investigate alerts without navigating multiple pages
  • Correlate data across resources and alerts
  • Identify probable root causes quickly
  • Explore your environment using natural language
  • Speed up troubleshooting and decision-making

Quick Start

To begin using Copilot:

  1. Navigate to a Copilot-enabled interface and open the Copilot panel.
  2. Enter a natural language query, for example:
    • Show critical alerts in my environment
    • Why did this alert trigger?
  3. Review the insights and suggested actions.
